Sicily & Sardinia – Wines of the Mediterranean Islands

Join us in the Bottega Cellar for a journey to Italy’s two great islands, where ancient traditions, dramatic landscapes, and the influence of the Mediterranean have shaped some of the country’s most distinctive wines.

From the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily to the windswept vineyards of Sardinia, this tasting explores a fascinating world of indigenous grape varieties, unique terroirs, and centuries of winemaking history. Discover the elegance of Carricante, the character of Nerello Mascalese, the richness of Nero d’Avola, and the vibrant personality of Vermentino, Cannonau, and other regional treasures.

Along the way, we will share the stories of passionate family producers who continue to preserve and celebrate the identity of these remarkable islands, crafting wines that are deeply connected to their land and culture.

Paired with small bites of fine cheeses and artisanal charcuterie, each wine is presented in a relaxed and engaging tasting designed to transport you to the heart of the Mediterranean.

Ticket Policy – Events and tastings at Bottega 1900

Please note that all tickets for our wine tasting events are non-refundable. Due to the intimate nature of our experiences and limited seating, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations or no-shows.

However, we understand that plans can change. If you notify us at least 72 hours before the event, we’ll do our best to reschedule your booking for a future tasting (subject to availability). We appreciate your understanding as we prepare each event with carefully selected wines, limited-edition products, and tailored service.
