This Italian Ancient Grain Pasta Conchigliegoes perfectly with seafood sauce like swordfish or Spanish Mackerel or simply served with fresh organic Roma tomatoes and eggplant sauces or with Sicilian pesto  prepared with garlic, tomato, basil and almonds.

As with Timilia casarecce,and Margherito casarecce we recommend to keep the pasta flavor as the main character of the dish.

Two words about Capeiti Italian Ancient Grain Pasta Conchiglie

Our Italian Ancient Grain Pasta Conchiglie  is handcrafted with stone milled flour at low temperatures in order to preserve all the organoleptic properties of the raw material.
The dough is made exclusively with pure Sicilian Ancient wheat Capeiti flour.

The bronze drawing guarantees the pasta a wrinkled and rippled surface, typical of artisan pasta, able to retain sauces and condiments and to enhance its flavor with every single “fork”.

Bronze drawing ends in a slow pasta drying process of about 48 hours, which takes place at low temperatures. This passage, despite lengthening the production time, guarantees the pasta to preserve all the nutritional properties of the wheat.

The choice of packaging is also a tribute to Sicilian culture and tradition. Each package is characterized by the presence of the “Tombolo Siciliano”, ancient lace made by hand by the skilled hands of Sicilian women and still characterizes the culture and tradition of many Sicilian places, for more than a century.
