San Felice Extra Virgin Olive Oil (organically grown) has a fantastic golden green color and a complex aroma with light notes of rocket and thistle and fresh cut grass. The flavor is simply outstanding with sweet almond, tangy citrus and a spicy aftertaste due to the high presence of polyphenols and antioxidants.

Two words about San Felice Extra Virgin Olive Oil

In Giano All’Umbria, the olive tree finds a particularly favorable microclimate. In 1888 the area cultivated with olive trees was almost 50% of the territorial area. Here an autochthonous variety is cultivated, which gives a fruity, slightly bitter oil with delicate herbaceous notes.

The “cultivar” is called “San Felice” and takes its name from the homonymous abbey. It was in fact the monks who selected it and preserved it to this day.

It´s a very small extra virgin olive oil production, from one of the smallest italian cultivars.

Claudia took on a challenge and, boy she is doing great!

After taking over the family land only five years ago, she made her own EVOO for the first time and since then, she has managed to position her oils within the bests, receiving awards straight away, including from Gambero Rosso. She has also started to make honey, cereals and legumes ‘just for fun’ but the result of all her products is nothing but serious¨.
