Two words about Zahara
Zahara Tonda Iblea Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a monocultivar of Tonda Iblea, heritage and stunning variety of our territory. The olives are delicately picked by hand from secular trees of the Chiaramonte Gulfi valleys.
The harvested olives are processed into oil within hours after harvest in our mill, where we use technologies that allow us to maximize the potential of the olive in each extraction stage.
About Oleificio Guccione
Oleificio Guccione is one of the historic olive oil mills of Chiaramonte Gulfi (the Balcony of Sicily) a baroque village in the heart of the Iblei Mountains.
The company was founded in 1966 by our grandparents, initially as a crusher at the service of the olive growers in the area, always based on a great search for quality and innovation. We were the first in the area, in 1990, to abandon the traditional press extraction system and to focus on cold extracting technology.
Today to lead the company we are the grandsons of the founder, Vito and Giuseppe Divita, two brothers in their thirties with the desire to produce a contemporary, great oils to express the full potential of our territory.
