Description

Tartufi Ponzio Truffle Honey Acacia 100g

Tartufi Ponzio, located the main street in the Alba historic center, is one of the oldest shops in Italy dedicated to the White Truffle, in which its founder, Cavalier Roberto Ponzio (1923-2008) made the history of the White Truffle and its market.

Pregiato Black Truffle  (Tuber melanosporum Vitt.)

The Pregiato black truffle (Tuber melanosporum Vitt.) is so called because of its dark colour that characterises both the rind and the inner gleba, which has shades from very dark red to brown, has a rounded, warty appearance that is very compact and can reach considerable size if it finds suitable soil for its growth.
The harvest and marketing period for the Prized Black Truffle is between winter and spring, more precisely from 15 November to 15 March.
